DARMS Property (Development Asset Realty Management Services Pty Ltd) was established in 2006 by John Darmody who has over 25 years of property experience.  John’s vision is to concentrate on real property solutions for clients, whilst delivering an exceptional level of customer service.  Think of DARMS as your dedicated property team.

 

 

John Darmody - Director
John’s experience in the property industry spans over 25 years and includes senior roles in state government, federal government and private enterprise. His expertise includes property development, asset management, strategic business administration and property valuation.
John has an extensive network of contacts throughout all levels of government as well as a current network of agents, architects, financiers and other key property and design consultants.

John is regularly called upon by municipal and state governments to provide advice regarding the feasibility and bid process management for major urban renewal projects.

Qualifications:
John has completed a Bachelor of Business (Property) and has undertaken extensive study in other areas including the completion of a Masters in Business Administration.
John is also a Certified Practicing Valuer and Licenced Estate Agent, with current memberships with the Australian Property Institute and the Real Estate Institute of Victoria.

 

 

 

Ben Murphy - Development Manager
Ben is a Development Manager with a specialty in Sales/acquisitions. He has a Masters in Business (Property) and is a Licensed Estate Agent with over 12 years experience within the public and private sector from local agency sales, through commercial agency to Bid process establishment and management of projects up to $1billion in end value. Ben has recently lead the management of the Successful Bid Process. Prior to his commencement with DARMS Property, Ben was employed in an acquisitions role with Places Victoria.

 

 

 

 

 


John Wark - Development Manager

With 15 years of experience in property and development John has developed expertise across the entire project spectrum and an excellent understanding of all areas of Development Management, Project Management and construction. His management experience across the project phases including due diligence, site acquisition, development programming, development strategy planning, feasibility analysis, cost control, stakeholder management / liaison, consultant procurement, Master Planning coordination, Town Planning coordination and community consultation are valuable attributes which help ensure successful outcomes. Johns’ track record for project delivery stands testament to his capability to meet clients’ expectations. His knowledge and understanding of the overall project cycle will add merit to any project team.
